As someone who has the job to manage the company's daily operation, organizing and managing team members is a challenge that I have to deal with on a daily basis. Each team member have different habit and personality -- whom I have to adapt and mix and coodinate with. Every project has its own special needs yet share a lot of similiarities. Interesting, challenging, yet somehow I found myself unsatisfied with how my team works. I want to make challenges to each of them so they can accelerate growth: personal and professional, with the goal of benefitting the company and each person involved, financially. Such a complicated thing to do with my limited experiences. That means, as I am also a team member, it's a challenge for me too! ===== Note: This piece is actually from a draft I made about two years ago when I was still in the construction company in Serpong.

I must admit that I have a peculiar sense of humor. Final Destination 5 Seat D 13 at Auditorium 5 Like when I deceided to watch Final Destination 5. I chose seat D 13 that can be read as "Die". It was screened in Auditorium 5 so the ticket printed out like the picture above, which can be read as "Dies". I personally think it was fun, watched a movie about cheating Death while seated at DIES.

Bagaimana menyemangati diri sendiri? Tentu saja dengan delicious pork treat! Babi Goreng Lapo Natabo Kali ini kutampilkan seporsi Babi Goreng dari Lapo Natabo. Untuk yang ini adalah cabang mereka di daerah Bumi Serpong Damai. Linda yang pernah kuajak satu kali ke sini saja sampai ketagihan dan biasanya kalau aku sempat makan siang di sini sebelum pergi ke Jakarta untuk bertemu dengannya, biasanya dia akan menitip seporsi babi goreng yang crispy juicy delicious ini! Tak salah lagi, pilihan menu yang ini seharusnya berhasil menyemangatiku lagi. Berhubung sudah beberapa lama tidak mampir ke Lapo Natabo, mungkin sudah sepantasnya kuusahakan dalam minggu ini datang lagi ke sana untuk memanjakan diri!

Let's face it, in this company that I currently work for, there's a lot of room for improvement. That's what -- for sometime -- I've been trying to say to my boss: We Need To Improve. That the necessary improvement is needed in all the parts of the company. The administration or back office, the accounting, the field teams, the teamwork, the workflow, etc. Not an easy task and definitely not a short listed one. It's a challenge that we have to do in order to became better. Of course there's resistance from the inside, as you should know. Change, for some people, is intimidating. Improvement steps, for others, are bothersome. But because the goal is somewhat clearer than before, it'd be more achieveable for all of us. Because, if not for improvement, we will be left behind by our competitors. So, improvement is imperative. Help me, God.
